Start and finish times


We encourage students to be dropped off/arrive at school at a time that allows them to put their bags away, and sign in before the bell rings, so they are ready to start class at 9am.



School, including the hub, library and office, does not open until 8:30am each school day. To ensure the safety of all students, please do not send your child to school before this time as staff are not available to supervise them.

School finishes at 3pm, with a teacher on duty outside at the pickup zone until 3.15pm. Please note, students are not supervised after 3.15pm and the office closes at 3.30pm. The library is open until 3.30pm for those wanting check out or return books.

Before and After School Care is available on site from 7.15am-8.30am / 3pm-6pm and can be booked through Kelly Club.

If you need to take your child out of school for any reason during the day, please visit the school office first to collect a visitor tag, then return with your child to sign them out. If your child returns to school that same day please sign them back in again. This allows us to keep track of all students on-site and off-site in case of an emergency.

Students are not to leave school premises at any point during the school day without teacher permission.

We appreciate that it's not always possible to make appointments out of school time, but if it's at all possible to reduce your child's time away from learning, here's a reminder of our break times:



First morning session: 9:00-11:00am
Morning Break: 11:00-11:30am
Second morning session: 11:30am-12:50pm
Lunch break: 12:50-1:40pm
Afternoon Session: 1:40-3:00pm

Break times differ slightly on Wednesdays to allow for our rotation programme:
Morning Break: 10:30-11:00am
Lunch break: 12:30-1:20pm

All visitors, that are not collecting a student, (including parents/grandparents going into the hub/class areas to drop something to a student, volunteering etc) MUST sign themselves in as a visitor at the office.
