In case you don't know who Pio Terei is....he is a comedian, actor, musician and performer. He is one of New Zealand's most popular television and radio entertainers as well as a sought after MC and keynote speaker at corporate events. Pio is integrally involved in "The Parenting Place" and will come to Amesbury School with the highly entertaining and informative "The Parenting Show".
His visit to us is being subsidized by The Parenting Place and the Amesbury School Board of Trustees. Therefore, it will be free to you!
It's odd that parenting is the MOST important thing we do in life (probably the thing with the longest lasting effect) and yet it is often the thing we are least qualified to do. Following on from Celia Lashlie, Pio Terei, in his equally hilarious way, will bring an inspirational message - "Bringing up kids well and having fun with them is just the best thing you can do."
To enable as many people as possible from our school community to attend this evening, we have asked Kelly Sport to run a programme of activities for our children for the duration of The Parenting Show. Your children will be well taken care of so you can sit back and enjoy a couple of fun-filled hours focusing on your most important role in life. And hopefully, as well as being entertained, you will come up with a couple of things you can work in your role as parents.
