Heading away for the school holidays? You’re encouraged to vote in the local election before you go.
The local elections are for Wellington City Council, Greater Wellington Regional Council and Capital & Coast District Health Board. Your vote must be received by the Electoral Officer by 12 noon on Saturday 12 October.
School holidays can be busy times, whether you’re in town or away. Please consider posting your vote before the holidays begin. Or you could take the voting papers away with you and post them back in plenty of time (posting them before 9 October will ensure they reach the Electoral Officer before the deadline).
Use your voice. Details about the elections and candidates can be found at www.Wellington.govt.nz/election2013
