Go for Gold - A New World Promotion

Go for Gold was a promotion that sought to turbo-charge New World Churton Park’s support of local schools, sports and community groups, with potentially over $30,000 of sponsorship contributions available. Deciding who gets what was all in the hands of the Churton Park community!

Across the last four months, customers shopping at New World Churton Park were able to record
their spend on a stamp card. When they reached $200 at the store, they received $1 which they could allocate to the participating school or community group of their choice.

We have just been told that we have received over $900 from this promotion. A huge 'thank you' to all who nominated Amesbury school to receive their $1.

Amesbury School opened in February 2012. From the moment the school opened, its grounds have served as a recreational area for the community. After school and at the weekends, families can be seen cycling, playing games or just going for walks, but all enjoying the great outdoors. Our school grounds are an asset used by the whole community. As well as looking great, we are keen to develop our grounds so they increasingly assist people to be active within the community; to provide a space for kids to be kids, and for all to enjoy the great outdoors. The funding from 'Go for Gold' will assist with realising that vision. Currently students, teachers and board are working on plans for the development of a wetland area and viewing platforms. This funding will be used to further that particular project.
