Last Monday we took a group of 28 students to Newtown Park to compete at
the Northern Zone Athletics Day. It was a wonderful day with our
students performing incredibly well both on and off the track. You truly
made our school proud.
It was great to see our students performing so
competitively with a few students making it to Interzone. This means
that they finished in the top 3. Congratulations to all Amesbury School
students, it was a privilege to watch you compete; and all the best to
those students who will be going on to Interzone.
The Interzone Athletics Day will be held at Newtown Park on 26 November.

I was also proud of all our Amesbury kids competing - a first time for several children. It was well worth it waiting in the cold. Great action shots Demelza.
