  • **Creative Expressions** - The lovely ladies from Creative Expressions are back for 2014 with plenty of exciting activities. Quilting will continue this year, with both beginners and a more advanced group - so if you're keen to learn, come along! Rosie, an experienced textile artist, will also start teaching knitting (aimed at beginners, but all are welcome) from 3rd March. Creative Expressions are now on Monday afternoons from 1.30 - 3.30 in our big room, so plenty of room to spread out and get creative! $2 per session. Register with me at cpcc@wcc.govt.nz. If you are interested in knitting with the group, please contact me for information on what you will need to bring.
  • **Community Music Junction/Sing for Your Life** - Sing for your Life has moved to Newlands Community Centre with a change of day & time to Thursdays 1.30 – 2.45pm. As you know, the acoustics in the large meeting room weren’t suitable for the group to really flourish, so the difficult decision was made to move the session. Simon will be taking the Newlands session. For further information, please contact my colleague Raph at Newlands on 477 3724.
  • **Churton Park Festival** - coming on 8th March! We have so many different parts of our community actively involved in delivering this afternoon and evening of fun! The organising team has just had the poster confirmed and I have attached it to this message. If you are able to share it around your social media networks or even better print it out and pop it up, that would be great!
