Dragons' Den (Urs in a Dress?!)

Wednesday 19th Feb was a buzzy day here. But the highlight had to be Urs in a Skirt. You have heard of 'bugs in a rug'....well here at Amesbury it was 'Urs in a skirt'. This is a previously unknown phenomenon and is unlikely to ever be repeated again - so I am told by a source very close to the subject. So check out the photos below. Also note the "dragon face!".

Since school started, groups of students have explored and trialled possible fundraising activities, products, services and games for the Churton Park Festival. At The Dragons' Den, the students' pitched their ideas to The Dragons (Urs and Matt) who listened to and critiqued each group's presentation. All groups were very excited about this presentation but were also well prepared and serious about their bid for their business idea to be successful. I was very impressed with the range of products and games the groups had designed and produced prototypes for. The point of each pitch was to convince The Dragons that their idea should be chosen for the Churton Park Festival, 8 March between 4 - 7pm.

Below Johnny, Matt, Leni and Xandre making their pitch to "The Dragons".

Tais, Hannah, Samantha and Emma about to give their presentation to The Dragons.
