International Festival combined with Community Evening

image

Everyone seems to be busy, so we have decided to downsize the International Festival we had planned for mid November and combine it with our Term 4 Community Evening and Learning Celebration.

We really value our multi-cultural community and we are keen to celebrate our diversity; however, we have to find ways that work best for our busy community. Hence, we have decided to combine our International Festival with our Term 4 Community Evening and our Term 4 Learning Celebration - let's call it our International Community Celebration.

This celebration will take place on Friday evening, 20 November between 5.30pm and 7.30pm. We would ask that school families make every effort to attend, as throughout the evening students will present their Global Living inquiry learning. There will also be international food stalls - so come for dinner; and there will be other activities including a Cultural Dress Catwalk/Parade.

Our Term 4 Community Evening is generally dedicated to hearing from you - through a range of consulation sessions and activities. We will try to include some consultation activities as part of this International Community Celebration, but we will also create other ways for you to contribute to the ongoing development of our strategic direction and our 2016 Annual Plan. Your voice will not be forgotten!

Please put 20 November 5.30pm to 7.30pm in your diary and plan to come to this exciting event. We will be asking for little bits of help from you as we plan this event. If there is any way you feel that you can contribute, please feel free to contact Lesley or Rachel and let them know what you might be able to do.
