Go and support the All Blacks as they bring the Webb Ellis Cup home for the third time.

Wellington will be hosting a parade this Friday to support the All Blacks and celebrate their momentous achievements.

Amesbury School will not be taking the hubs into the city for the parade, due to the considerable issues around safeguarding big groups of reasonably young children in what will most likely be very large crowds.

However, we wholeheartedly endorse parents taking their children down to the parade to cheer the team and the cup home. We are  happy for children to be picked up from school to go and join in the celebrations. Here are the details of the parade:

There will be brief welcome at Parliament grounds at 11.30am, with the parade expected to start just before midday and then head along the Golden Mile to a welcome in Civic Square. The parade will proceed along Lambton Quay, then Willis St, into Mercer St, before arriving in Civic Square between 1pm and 1.30pm.

Take your flags, ABs scarves and loud voices down to the city to join in the fun!
