Amesbury Community Expo - all welcome!

image

Our learning celebration this term will be held on Friday 2nd December from 1:45 - 2:45pm. You are all cordially invited to come along.

All of our previous learning celebrations have  focused on the students and their learning, we have turned the focus around this time. For Term 4, our learning celebration will be held as a community expo, focusing on the needs of our parent and whanau community. You have all supported us so much through the year that it is time for us to focus on you.

We will be practising the hospitality skills (Years 4-6) and good manners (Years 1-3) that we have all been focusing on in our social skills sessions this term to host you all for the afternoon. We will also be putting our creativity to good use, creating a range of activities and services to ensure you all have a good time.

Come along for a lovely afternoon of snacks, drinks, activities and demonstrations. We will be doing our best to ensure your needs are met, with a range of services such as baby and dog sitting services, tours (including sneaky behind-the scenes tours to learn some of our school secrets!) and refreshments. All activities and services will be organised and run by our students. We will end the expo with our Amesbury Awesomeness awards in the hall.

We look forward to seeing many of you there.

Warm regards, the Amesbury Team
