Year 0,1 & 2 Day out and Whanau Picnic - Wednesday 7 December

This is a reminder for the end of year EOTC event for our Year 0,1 and 2 children. 

Our Year 0,1 & 2 children will be having a fun day out and a whanau evening picnic for our end of year EOTC event on Wednesday 7 December.

During the day students will travel to the ASB Sports Arena in Kilbirnie. The bus will depart from school at 11:45am, and arrive back to school around 4:15pm. Children then stay on at school for some organised activities and a whanau picnic. They don't need to be picked up at school at 3pm, or when they arrive back off the bus at 4:15pm. Families are invited to join us from 5pm at Amesbury School where you can watch the activities and bring a picnic for your family to eat together. Food is not provided for the meal on this occasion. The evening events are scheduled to finish around 7pm.




The students need to bring their own lunch as normal and parents can bring picnic food for the evening meal. You are also welcome to bring picnic blankets and chairs, dress up in festive attire if you wish and be ready for a relaxing and social gathering. In order for us to cover the costs at ASB sports centre and the bus, the total cost for the trip is $7 per child. This will be added to your child's school account.

Timetable 

11:45am Depart School

12:15om Arrive ASB

12:30pm Activities at the ASB sports arena. Lunch in between activities.

3:45pm Depart ASB4:15pm Arrive school / Play

5:00pm Organised activities at school. Parents are welcome to join us from this point.

6:15pm Whanau picnic

7pm Home time
