Term Two Community Evening

AmesburyAmesbury — by Beckie Duffy

Engage with two thought-provoking presentations, plus take the a chance to learn a bit more about "Life at Amesbury".

We're looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday 7 June from 5.30 - 7pm, for a chance to meet, eat, connect and learn with sessions run by Amesbury staff and Board Members.

Evening Programme

5.30-6.00pm  Join together in Harakeke to share pizza and get to know our teachers with a fun game.

6.00-7.00pm  Children will move to Koru Hub to enjoy supervised entertainment with Mr Wizowski, and craft activities.

6.00-6.45pm   Lesley and Urs will each run a 20 minute presentation. Choose one, and then swap to hear the other. Urs will be talking about our student achievement data, comparing Amesbury results against national data. Lesley will be discussing "The Rise of the Useless Class" and sharing a high level vision on why education needs to change. Both promise to be interesting and informative.

6.45-7.00pm   Three optional presentations, choose one, or grab the kids and head home. Lisa will be talking about ALF, Angela will be talking about Amesbury communications and members of our Board of Trustees will be talking about the role of the school board.

We look forward to seeing you all there!
