The students have been having a great time visiting Orongomai Marae.

Group 1 traveled up to Orongomai Marae in Upper Hutt on Wednesday, 9 August, and Group 2 goes out today, Thursday 10 August. Group 1 has had a great time with many activities, including Taniwha hunting and (weather permitting) will head out to Maidstone Park for a bushwalk, then over to Tawa Pool for a swim today. They'll be back at school for a well-earned sausage sizzle at lunch time. Group 2 will be at the Marae tonight, then will go to Maidstone Park and Tawa Pool tomorrow. We are getting lots of great photos of the students having lots of fun, which we are posting to our Flickr account. More photos will be uploaded to Flickr as they come in.
