Amesbury 8 — by Beckie DuffyOur Community Evening will focus on meeting Amesbury teachers, connecting with the school community and fun outdoor activities!
Join the school community on Wednesday 14 February from 5.30-7pm for our Community Evening. This date is earlier in the term than usual...but we want to make the most of the weather!Bring the whole family, some cushions or a picnic rug, and enjoy entertainment on the field from the Redfernz. The barbecue will be running for sausages, plus pizza, drinks and ice blocks will be available for a light meal.
While parents come into the hubs to meet with teachers, Kelly Club will be running 'Wacky Wednesday' - fun outdoor activities for all ages, including mentos volcanoes, noodle tag and giant ski races. Plus the bike track will be open. We will stagger meeting times for the different hubs, so if you have more than one child, you will be able to meet all the teachers.
A full program will be sent out via the app on the day of the event, for easy reference. In the case of wet weather, meet the teacher will go ahead, but outdoor activities will be cancelled.
