School Notices: 7 - 14 March

Everything you need to know around and about School for the next week.

Your confirmation is required please: 

We have a Paid Union Meeting for teachers next Tuesday 13th March. This will require teachers to attend a meeting at 1:30pm in Newlands. As such, we are asking for students to be picked up at 12:30pm next Tuesday.

School will remain open for students who cannot be picked up, and Kelly Club After School Care will operate from 3pm onwards as usual. It is important that we know the number of students at school next Tuesday, so we can ensure we have enough staff onsite. Amesbury School will hold student conferences in the final week of term. Please read our article here for more information and how to book. 

Scholastic Book Orders


If anyone would like to help with the book order that is due to arrive this week, please email Rachel in the Library: library@amesbury.school.nz  Thanks! 

Also, are there any volunteers for a Library Out Loud session on a Thursday lunchtime (1.05-1.35pm). You could read a favourite picture book (dress up optional) or read a book from a different culture or in a different language.

Subway Lunches


Sadly, Subway will be withdrawing from school lunches as from Term 2 (they will continue for the remainder of Term 1). This is mainly due to the low number of orders.  Please use this opportunity to place Subway orders before the end of the term! You can order via the link here. 

Churton Park Kindy Food Fair is on THIS Sunday 4-6pm in the Churton Park School Grounds. Please see the flyer attached to this notice.
