Chinese Language week: a celebration

image

Don't Ewan and Si-Yeon look great in their cultural dress!

In Term three, the students in Amesbury school experienced a variety of Chinese cultural arts, such as traditional Chinese costumes, Beijing Opera mask, Chinese character postcard as well as paper cutting of Chinese character “spring”(春).

The students seemed so excited about these activities and had lots of fun. Through these experiences, they are becoming more aware of mandarin language and Chinese culture.

Chinese language week aims to let people know more about China as well as its culture. We are encouraging our students to develop a good cultural understanding and language skill as well.
