School Closed - Wednesday 29 May

Message from Board Chair, John Bunting ....

School will be closed Wednesday, 29 May, 2019 due to STRIKE action by teachers.

No doubt you have heard that primary teachers and principals (along with their secondary school colleagues) will be striking next Wednesday, 29th May. The Board of Trustees considered the matter at its meeting last night and decided that there would not be sufficient staff available to ensure the safety of students during a strike, so Amesbury School will be closed for instruction and supervision all day on Wednesday, 29th May, 2019.

亲爱的学生家长：
关于5月29日（周三）教师工会组织的罢工游行。
相信大家都听说了下周三的中小学老师们的联合罢工。学校董事会昨晚决定，认为罢工当天无法能保证有足够的老师和工作人员来保证学生们的安全，所以决定关闭下周三（2019年5月29号）学校内的所有指令和看顾。
