Summer Day Out - Parents needed

Summer Day Out: PARENTS NEEDED - MEN AND WOMEN. We are looking for parents who are willing to help with the organisation of this annual event which is primarily an opportunity to build community and secondly to raise funds for the development of our school grounds (which will then be enjoyed by the whole community). If you are willing to help with the organisation of this important community event, please contact Lesley as soon as possible. We are hoping to see some new faces involved, along with some of those who have previously been involved in Amesbury events. The more people involved, the less work for everyone.

We are already beginning to plan this community event which will take place 23 February 2014. Last year the Summer Day out was organised in a few short weeks. This time we are hoping to get much of the organisation done prior to the end of this year, so that we have a slightly more leisurely lead up to the event. The event is very early in the school year to make the most of February weather.

The purpose of this event is to primarily to provide an opportunity to bring our community together. This year we are planning to have more entertainment, more activities and more food.
