Second day of rotations at camp

image

It was a fabulous day: lovely weather, exciting rotations, delicious food and talent to boot - who could ask for more?

Our second day of rotations went really well. We moved around team building, zip line and climbing, and then we moved on to abseiling, downhill go-karts and the low ropes course. It was great, if a little bumpy on the karts! Lots of fun was had by all.

We were very impressed by the number of students pushing their own boundaries and challenging themselves. They continued this right until the end of the day, with our Amesbury camp talent show - who knew Roddy knew quite so much about dinosaurs, or Holly could do such a show with a set of spoons?

The weather was fabulous. Sorry to boast, folks back home in Wellington, but we had to bust out the sunscreen right through the day.

Acknowledgements ended our final full day at camp; the group was great at talking about the accomplishments of their peers. All in all, a lovely final day. We are now getting some shut eye before our big trip back home. Let's hope it's a little smoother than our sailing on Monday!
