Churton Park Community Centre - What's on next week

Hi Everyone
The inaugural Churton Park Craft Market is on here at CPCC next Friday (15th) evening between 6 – 9pm. You’ll entertained by Amesbury School’s talented performers at 6.30pm.  Support Churton Park School‘s cake and coffee stall.  Visit New World for wine tasting between 5-7pm.  All purchases on the night get 10% off at Simmer Cafe and a free drink from Takeaway@Churton. Spot prizes on the night. So much going on, all are welcome and entry is free!

** Quest 4 Wellness Seminar **
Date: 12th November 2013, Time: 7.30 – 8.30. Dr Gloria Hettige, CEO of Quest 4 Wellness will share on the following topics:
1.      Toxic supplements and share a new technology that delivers plant based solvent free supplements based on food for children and adults
2.      How to manage cognitive and circulatory system function using high strength Omega 3 Lipids and Vitamin D supplementation
3.      How to improve gut health with room temperature pro biotics

** Wednesday Walking Group**
The start time of the Wednesday Walk has moved from 9.30 to 9.15 am. This is to enable our keen walkers who are also keen singers to get back in time for Sing for your Life at 11am.

** Hand–Stamped Cards Classes **
Christmas is coming – are you ready? Register now for the Christmas “Stamp-A-Stack” on Saturday 16 November 2.30pm-4.30pm at CPCC. Make six cards of three designs incorporating stamping, embossing, punching etc. Cost:  $25.00. Register with Beckie at CPCC.

**KCA Christmas Giving Tree **
Coming soon: we will have a Christmas Giving Tree in the Centre to collect presents for families doing it tough this Christmas. All presents will be distributed by Kiwi Community Assistance to those most in need. How can you help? Simply choose an ornament off the tree, buy a new present for the child on the ornament and bring it back to CPCC. What a great way to share the Christmas spirit this year! The tree will be up in the Centre from November 25th November.

** Kids Christmas Card Making Class **
This class is going to be fantastic.  Your kids will make a pizza box filled with four cards and envelopes, a mini-milk carton and a cute treat box.  Fabulous entertainment for a Saturday afternoon where your kids will get creative using a range of products. Register now and avoid disappointment! Children aged  8 – 9 require parental supervision, children over 10 can attend unsupervised. Cost: $25.00. Saturday 23 November, 3.00pm – 5.00pm. Book with Beckie at CPCC.

** Finally Friday Evening Card Making Session **
After the great attendance to Rachael & Fiona’s first Friday Class they have set down the date for their next Finally Friday Class.  Register now and avoid disappointment! Please bring a sweet treat to share - we'll provide tea and coffee. Cost: $10.00.  Friday 29 November, 7.30pm – 9.30pm

Here’s the details of our next event, 10.30am, Tuesday 26 November (but come along from 10am if you can help set up)

How to make your business look good (and communicate well) for less. Jane Comben, a member of TGMB and an awesome graphic designer, will help you ‘dress’ your business for success! She will:
 *   give tips on how to make the most of your logo
 *   help you work out who and where your market is
 *   go over the things to consider if you want to rebrand or rename
 *   demystify some printing jargon.
