Success at Northern Zone Swimming Competition
A particular well done to the students who placed first or second in their events and now go on to represent Amesbury School at the Inter Zone competition a little later this term:
Year 5 boys relay team (William Van Rij, Oliver Dunbar, Harry Law and Freeman Yu)
Freeman Yu - winner of the Yr 5 25 m freestyle
Gracie Hayward - winner of the 25m backstroke.
A huge thanks to Bex Cook, who led the team on the day and was one of the (very busy!) judges for the events, and our parent team who transported students and managed the team or completed other roles to help run the event: Garth Hayward, Vivian Tse and Kylie Law.
