The Board of Trustees met last night for their regular monthly meeting. Here's an overview of what was covered.
Half-Year Reports: A number of staff presented a half-yearly report covering progress in the first two terms and initiatives for the second half of the year.- Demelza spoke about progress made moving maths goals onto ALF and the development of individual pathways in mathematics.
- Angela updated the Board about progress made in ESOL, special needs, transition, the library and staff professional development.
- Urs covered student achievement data for Term 2, which is showing improvement in each learning area from Term 1.
Finances: At half way through the year, both expenditure and income are down on budget, and currently the financial situation looks positive. However, an ongoing prudent approach to expenditure will be sensible for the next half of the year as expenditure often increases in the second half of the year.
