Churton Park Community Centre - What's On to 30 March 2014

Hi Everyone

I hope you’ve had a good week. CPCC now has EFTPOS! Yes, we have entered the new millennium and you will now be able to pay for your room hire and photocopying via EFTPOS! (Can you tell I'm excited?) For what’s coming up next week, please click here.

ON NEXT WEEK
  • ** NO EARLY LEARNING PLAYGROUP ON TUESDAY ** - Playgroup will resume on Tuesday 1 April
  • ** These Girls Mean Business ** - Our next event is on Tuesday 25 March, 10.30am start and we’d love for you to come along. There will be time for networking and we’ll also have a discussion. We’re going to talk about customer service this week so please bring along your tips for how you provide your customers with the best service. $5 entry.
  • ** Wednesday Walk ** this week is an away walk up to Te Marua (just north ofUpper Hutt), and walking the "Tunnel Gully" Walkway. We will finish at the Stonehouse Tea Rooms with Devonshire Tea (approx $7). We will leave at 9am so you will need to be at the Community Centre around 8:45am. Estimated time of return to Churton Park is around 12:45 to 1pm. We will carpool as usual and we ask that you offer the driver of the vehicle you travel in$3-$5 as it is quite a long trip. As usual when we travel away from Churton Park, there will be a Local Walk option for those not travelling. Please let Bart know if you intend to go on the Te Marua trip so we can do bookings - bart.jones@xtra.co.nz.
  • ** Porse Music & Movement ** - please note that the Friday Porse Music & Movement class is now full. I will let you know if spaces become available in the future.
  • ** SPCA** The SPCA is in on Saturday 29th with plenty of cute and cuddly cats that need homes. 12 – 3pm.
  • ** Community Matkot Tournament ** - Saturday 29th March here in the Village from 4.30pm.  Since March 29th is Neighbours Day, why not grab a few neighbours, put together a team and come down for some fun! A registration form is attached and also some information about the tournament and the rules of the game. Let me stress you need no experience nor do you really need any skill to have fun at this game. Anyone 8+ years can play.
  • ** Churton Park Dog Walking Group ** meets on the last Sunday of every month (Sunday 30th March), 10am on the grassed area in front of Churton Park New World. All walkers and their pooches are welcome. For more information, please contact Vicky: vickymg@facmail.com

COMING SOON – MARK YOUR CALENDARS
