Festival Thanks and Photos

A fantastic time was had by all at the Churton Park Festival on Saturday.

Lovely weather, delicious cakes and snacks, exciting games and great music all contributed to a fun afternoon. The range of great stalls made in interesting walk around the village sampling the different wares.

We would like to say a huge thanks to all the parents and members of the community who came along and supported us by helping out on stalls, baking cakes, getting your children to their stalls and stations on time and supporting all the different stalls at the festival.
A particular thanks to the many parents and staff who worked tirelessly before and and after the event to ensure it all ran smoothly.

We are very grateful to Beckie Duffy and the festival committee for giving us the opportunity  to be involved in the festival- it was a great event. Last, but certainly not least, big thanks to all the students who were involved in all the frantic preparation for the festival and to the students who helped out on the day. You were all amazing and you did Amesbury School proud, ka pai!

This week the hubs will be working out our takings, costs and overall profit from the stalls. We will also be moving on to the next module of our 'Living Locally' inquiry, exploring the fascinating history of our local community.
